Premier League top clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are in touch to sign the Argentine superstar Lionel Messi. Spanish football expert Guillem Balague stated that these clubs are in touch with Messi for his move away from the Camp Nou. His current contract at the Barcelona ends at the end of next season.
Barcelona recently renewed contracts of Luis Suarez and Neymar, but yet to offer any contract for the multi Golden Ball winner. Guillem Balague believes that it only means Barca will be watching what they spend and will control their expenses, many feel it as an indication that Messi may well be on his way out of Camp Nou. Due to this, some Premier League clubs took interest in Messi.

Although still one year left for Messi’s current contract, but Premier League clubs are desperate to sign him within one year. Barcelona’s CEO Oscar Grau revealed that the Spanish club might not be able to offer an improved contract to the Argentine superstar as their spending would probably be restricted due to the caps imposed by La Liga.
Prior to this, Chelsea and Manchester City wanted to sign Messi last year, but the Argentine refused to do so. Should Messi sign new contract or he must join any other club?
