Italian club Inter Milan has joined Manchester United to sign the Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez. The Colombian footballer is the first choice of Manchester United who are willing to spend €80 million within this month on the FIFA World Cup 2014 Golden Boot Winner. James Rodriguez has been linked with the Italian club in the past and there were rumours that Inter Milan failed with a bid to acquire his services before the start of this season.
Inter Milan Takes Interest In James Rodriguez After Man United
Rodriguez didn’t play too much football at Real Madrid that could force him to leave the club for which he is currently playing. So far in this season, James Rodriguez have played just over 900 minutes. The midfielder have scored 4 goals and provided 10 assists to his teammates.
Jorge Mendes, the agent of James Rodriguez has already said that his client will not leave the Los Blancos in the current transfer window, and the same was reiterated by the player’s father. Any move for James will happen only in the summer transfer window.
James Rodriguez signed a six year deal with Real Madrid on 22nd of July 2014 at an approximate of €80 million. Real Madrid handed him Number 10 jersey carrying legacy of Luis Figo, Ferenc Puskas and Zinedine Zidane.
