Over £2.3 Billion Prize Money Earned By 2016-17 Premier League Teams: The prize money of Premier League for 2016-17 is announced with Chelsea bagged £150 Million amount. Antonio Conte’s Chelsea grabbed maximum amount followed by Manchester City with £146.9 Million. Bottom place Sunderland also bagged whopping amount of £93 Million from all sources. Each club got huge amount from broadcasting deals and commercials of Premier League. Premier League 2016-17 second place Tottenham Hotspur stands fourth in income.

All 20 clubs of Premier League grabbed more than £2.3 Billion this season, the vast majority from TV deals. Being Champions of Premier League, Chelsea received £38,832,180 as Merit Money. Each club gets an equal share of £79 Million from domestic TV income, overseas income and commercial income.

Maximum games of Liverpool were live on England [29 games]. 28 matches each of Manchester clubs were live on UK televisions and 25 matches each of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal on televisions.
