Premier League’s most successful club Manchester Untied qualified to the FA Community shield as winners of FA Cup 2015-16. On 21st May 2016, the red devils won against Crystal Palace by 2-1 and lifted the title of FA Cup for the 12th time in history. They are now the joint most times winners of FA Cup with Arsenal.
Leicester City made it to the final of FA Community shield as winners of Premier League 2015-16. This is the second appearance of The Foxes in this championship after 1971 when they won against Liverpool.
