Good news for the fans of Real Madrid as two players have joined the squad after good recovery. Brazilian Marcelo and Colombian James Rodriguez are back to football action. The South American duo missed some important games for Real Madrid and are now set to join them in upcoming games. Real Madrid have had quite difficult weeks at the beginning of this year as they lost points in La Liga and get eliminated from Copa Del Rey.
James Rodriguez and Marcelo Joined Real Madrid Training
Club manager Zinedine Zidane can have some relief after seeing his players back to squad. Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez picked up grade 2 hamstring tear on 7th Jan. Since then, the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot Winner didn’t play. Also, defender Marcelo is back to squad. Both players training with teammates, but didn’t stepped on field against Real Sociedad.
During their absence, Real Madrid first drew against Sevilla and then against Celta Vigo at their home ground Santiago Bernabeu. After Copa Del Rey elimination, Real Madrid played against Real Sociedad and won it by 3-0.

Dr Jose Gonzalez, who writes about Real Madrid for Spanish publications AS stated that the club have made training of the players harder under manager Zinedine Zidane. He said
“Madrid made their pre season much harder and more intense than other years and the results have been enjoyed enthusiastically by the fans. Over Christmas, they had another mini pre-season. And now the injuries are taking their toll.”
One side, Marcelo and Rodriguez have joined the squad, but Gareth Bale is still making recovery from injury. Marcelo and Rodriguez are expected to play few minutes in next La Liga game against Celta Vigo.
