Gabon Team Squad Roster For Africa Cup Of Nations 2017

Borussia Dortmund star Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been named as the captain of Gabon National football team for the upcoming big event Africa Cup of Nations 2017. The nation also announced the complete team squad roster for AFCON 2017. Sunderland midfielder Didier Ndong who was not available during November’s World Cup qualifier is also in the list. Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina, Cardiff City’s Ecuele Manga will be playing the African Championship.

Team coach Jose Antonio Camacho selected 3 domestic players. 3 players are picked for the biennial Africa Cup of Nations which runs from 14 Jan 5 Feb 2017. German club Borussia Dortmund will lead the Gabon team as the player is picked up as captain of the team.

Gabon qualified to the competition as host of Africa Cup of Nations 2017. They are in Group A with Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Guinea Bissau. Gabon will play the opening game of the competition on 14th of Jan 2017 at the Stade de I’Amitie.
