2017 FIFA U17 World Cup is a biennial Football tournament which is the 17th edition of the competition. Initially, four Asian nations took interest in hosting this competition. All nations submitted their bids before 15 November 2013. Bids were submitted by Azerbaijan, India, Ireland and Uzbekistan.
Host nation: India
On 5th December 2013, FIFA picked up India as the hosts of the tournament. This is the first time that India will host a FIFA tournament.
The World Cup will be played by 24 football teams from 6 confederations. Each team except India will qualify through qualifiers. FIFA has allotted seats for every confederation as follows

Host nation India made a shortlist of their 10 best Football stadiums to host the tournament. Stadiums of Navi Mumbai, Kochi, New Delhi,Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Margao, Bangalore, Kolkata and Guwahati were included in the list. The FIFA delegation team visited India between 19-25 October 2016 for the inspection of Football stadiums. After a complete inspection, the 13 member of FIFA team along with 10 members of Local Organizing committee named Kochi, Goa, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi, Guwahati and Kolkata for the venues of World Cup. The hosting venues are:
