Chelsea Vs West Ham Live Stream | 6 Mar 2017 | Premier League

The London Stadium welcomes Chelsea on the 6th, and will do everything possible to send the league leaders’ home disappointed. Chelsea has plenty of room to make errors as they have a 10 point lead in the EPL. The Blues have been the most consistent side so far in the competition and even their mid pace game holds the secret. Unlike Liverpool or Manchester teams or even Arsenal and Spurs, the Blues rarely play high intensity football, meaning, they are able to keep themselves fresh throughout a game and have less injury crisis then any of the others. Chelsea love to take control of the game and prefer to stay high up in midfield before launching an attack or delivering a high cross. This would prove extremely useful as they play a West Ham side that lack organisation in every form of the game.

Like always the hammers are likely to depend on fantastic long range efforts or sleek headers and this might just serve them well as most teams that tried to penetrate the Chelsea defence by pace or pass have more than likely failed. The stats say it all. Chelsea have conceded just 19 times so far and Spurs are the only team that betters that stat.

N’Golo Kante has been the team’s wall making 91 tackles so far this season and leaves almost no room for error. Up front it has been all about Diego Costa who has scored 16 goals so far 1 behind the tops scorers. While Costa more than often finds the net it has been Pedro and Fabregas who have provided them making a combined 13 assists in the league with only the man city midfield duo bettering them.

Though these players play a big part in the game the one who pulls the strings is Cesar Azpelicueta who has made 1680 passes so far. Although Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson betters that by nearly 400 passes, Azpelicueta has really made the mark given his sides style of play. Chelsea’s greatest success comes from the very fact that they do everything to a very good level instead of being the best at a few things.

West Ham on the other hand will have loads to think about as they head into the game. They have not been the best side at home and even though they are sitting pretty at mid table, Europa qualification will definitely be their target. The games have improved since the start of the year but their unorganized style of play hasn’t changed so far. Chelsea will look to exploit this unresolved weakness and try to increase their lead in the premier league. Andy Carrol will hope that his forehead once again be the hero.
