Chelsea Are Premier League Champions, Says Jose Mourinho

Manchester United club manager Jose Mourinho stated that his former team Chelsea are already the Premier League Champions. Man United are to face Chelsea in the quarter final round of FA Cup after claiming win against Blackburn Rovers. At the moment, Chelsea are eight points ahead of second place Manchester City and 12 points ahead of Manchester United.

He said “Probably Chelsea can only think about that [the FA Cup] because I think they are champions and they have nothing else to fight for. The FA Cup is something I believe is important for them. I have to play St-Etienne [on Wednesday], I have to play the [League Cup] final, I have to play hopefully another opponent in the Europa League.”

“I have to fight for a top-four position in the Premier League. I have so many things to think about. The match is in one month’s time. I don’t want to be speaking about it.”

Manchester United bagged 2-1 win over their old rivals Blackburn Rover in the fifth round of FA Cup. Thanks to goals from Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic whose goals helped United to steal the victory.

Jose Mourinho’s squad conceded first goal in last six games. They are now gone to 6 games unbeaten in all competitions including games of UEFA Europa League also. The Red Devils will now play return leg of Europa League against ASSE on 22nd Feb 2017.
