Celta Vigo Vs Real Madrid Sunday’s Game Postponed Because Of Storm

Celta Vigo’s next game La Liga game against Real Madrid has been postponed because the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos was declared unsafe after storm hit the Football stadium. City’s mayor Abel Caballero told to Spanish media that it would be impossible for the game to be played. Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid was scheduled for this Sunday at 7:45 pm [GMT].

Spanish City Vigo is a part of North West Spain which has been hit by storm with speed of about 85 mph in past days. Celta Vigo’s next Copa Del Rey match is also in doubt.

The first leg of Semi final was a goalless draw and the second leg will be held at Balaidos which is not in condition to host game. Alaves would be not happy as Celta will have more days to prepare themselves for home game.

Celta Vigo are at tenth spot in La Liga standings with 30 points. They’ve already eliminated Real Madrid from Copa Del Rey and are just one win away from Copa Del Rey final.

Meanwhile, defending La Liga Champions Barcelona kept a clean sheet victory over Athletic Bilbao by 3-0. Barcelona are one win or a draw away from Copa Del Rey final.
