£1 Million Donated By Man City and Man United To We Love Manchester Emergency Fund: Two Premier League clubs have joined hands to support the victims of city affected by terrorist attack. Clubs based on Manchester come together and donated £1 Million for the families and of 22 people who lost their lives and 64 people who were injured. The total fund has now reached £3 Million mark after donation of both clubs.

City Chariman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said “We have all been humbled by the strength and solidarity shown by the people of Manchester in the days since the attack.”

Manchester United played against Ajax Amsterdam in Europa League final which was organized under high security measures. Man United won the first ever Europa League and qualified for the Champions League also.

The Executive Chairman of Manchester United said “The Barbarism of Monday evening’s attack has shocked everyone. Our clubs are right at the heart of our local communities in Manchester and it is right that we present a unified response to this tragedy.”

“The money will help, of course but the work of the two clubs and their respective foundation and community scheme can build on the fantastic spirit that Mancunians have shown in the immediate aftermath.”
